Was ist Hammond Jazz?
Lauren Hammond war eigentlich Uhrenhersteller, er hat seinem präzisen Motor seiner Uhren benutz und damit den Tongeneratur der berühmten Hammond Orgel erfunden. Der Einflussreichste Musiker war Jimmy Smith, er war einer der ersten Hammond Jazz Stars und hat kultstatus erlangt, mit seinen Alben „The Sermon“ oder „The Cat“.
What is Hammond Jazz?
Lauren Hammond was actually a watchmaker, he used the precise motor of his watches to invent the sound generator of the famous Hammond organ. The most influential musician was Jimmy Smith, he was one of the first Hammond jazz stars and achieved cult status with his albums „The Sermon“ and „The Cat“.

Ich versuche mit meinen Neuaufnahmen den Hammond Jazz wieder neue Impulse zu verleihen. Mein Instrument ist eine Hammond T-500 mit dem originalen elektro magnetischen Tongenerator. Ich hoffe damit die Entwicklung des modernen Hammond Jazz voranzutreiben und mit meinen Ideen versuche ich neu Impulse zu setzen um die Popularität und die Bedeutung der Hammond in ihrer Einzigartigkeit darzustellen.
